Charlene Goudkuil
Story:
Lene started Tribal in 2020 because she wanted to create a football team that was inclusive, safe and friendly space for everyone, without Lene I wouldn’t of found a team where I feel I can be my whole self and enjoy every moment of being at football. Lene has always supported the club through thick and thin, she has taking money out of her own pocket to grow the club, volunteering numerous hours of her time, convinced her husband to run training session free of charge to get the club off the ground and even stayed active with the club while she was meant to be taking a break after having a baby. I can’t think of a more deserving person of this award.
Reason for nomination:
My nominee deserves to be seen because…she is the most selfless person, who always welcome members to the club with open hands and will support them no matter what level of skill they have, as we are all here to achieve the same goal, play football.
