Julie Cottis
Story:
Julie is a mum of two and a teacher, she is an amazing woman, balancing being a mum, working and supporting her family and others. Julie is our team captain and put together a group of ladies in a cricket team, always encouraging us and inspiring us, we have learnt how to play cricket and the importance of a team and what it means to be a strong woman!
Reason for nomination:
Julie is an inspiration, she is the glue that holds our team together, she is passionate and driven, seeing strengths in her team, encouraging us, supporting us, teaching us, she is dependable and brings enthusiasm and team spirit, we started as a group of women learning how to play cricket, some of us had never even picked up a ball, she has inspired us to learn to play and now we're winning matches in our local league! We grow each week with her support and the support of our coaches but Julie is at the centre of what we do. She is just an incredible woman.
