Once you have nominated yourself, you will be sent an acknowledgement email for you to verify your email address. Once verified, we will send you a welcome email to confirm your nomination has been received. This will then be reviewed by our moderators against our acceptable use requirements, and you will then receive an email within 48 hours either approving or rejecting your submission. Don’t worry if your nomination is not approved – it could be that some detail was missing or incorrect – you can always submit a new one.
Where you have nominated another person, we will follow the same process but send the verification to your nominee to ensure they wish to continue with the process. Please ask them to check junk mail and to look out for an email from: [email protected]. If your nominee does not respond within 7 days of contact, we shall send you a SMS using the number you provided on nomination to ask you to check with them they have received this email and if they wish to proceed. If we do not receive their confirmation within 21 days of our email, we shall withdraw their nomination and delete their information.
