Story:

Despite enduring an operation at such a young age, Esther decided that this set-back would not stop her from pursuing her life long dream of coaching. Starting off by coaching school girls in her secondary school, Ester had finally found something which gave her not only joy, but also life. Her journey rapidly progressed when she became an U8 manager and when she coached U16 Boys who were the same age as her. She had managed to develop a positive relationship with all of her players and motivated them to keep on pushing and battling through the league. A few months down the line , Esther launched her foundation at just 16 years old - EOE foundation - which aims to give inner city girls the opportunity to excel within the football industry, and give them the spotlight to be noticed in an industry dominated by men.

Reason for nomination:

Esther is a passionate, hardworking coach who will never settle for less. She will always ensure that her quality of coaching is of the highest standard and that her players feel safe, happy , and confident. Her story motivates her to give every single one of her players an opportunity which she had never been given.
