Jessica Da Costa Monteiro
Story:
Jess is the most determined person I know. She started playing football quite late but has never stoped driving and believing in herself in order to achieve her goals. She started football at 12 and by the age of 16 she has played internationally .
She is kind and compassionate to all those around her and shares her joy and love for football with everyone.
She is such an inspiration to all around her, she’s currently recovering from injury and even then she has not stoped attending training for rehab and games to be there to support her team mates.
I’m so proud to call this inspirational young lady my daughter.
She is extremely passionate about equality and diversity in the women’s game and always ensures she is shining a light to the issues young women like herself face in the game. She posts often about the issues and is a fierce every day advocate for equality and diversity in women’s football.

She is truly an inspirational young lady who is a fierce advocate for equality and diversity in the women’s game. She promotes and shines a light into the importance of diversity and equality in women’s football. She is kind and has so much drive that all those around her can’t help but fall in love with the women’s game.
