Passionate Player

Story:

My passion for football all began when I was a child and I didn’t really understand the game and the influence it had on my I just used to play football with my brothers. Last year in August I suffered with a really bad knee injury which effected my ability to walk but also really took an impact on my mental health. I believe football is something that helped me to push through this difficult period of my life because even though I wasn’t physically able to play I felt like I was still included by watching the game.

Reason for nomination:

I believe that I should be seen because I feel like no matter what is happening in my life football can always be something that gives me strength and motivation to keeping pushing through. I see football as the light at the end of the tunnel. In my personal opinion I don’t really see players that have a similar background to me so I really want to be a role modal and inspire young players and show that that in the game of football it is all about talent and hard work not about race and religion.
