Sarah Baker
Story:
Sarah has been a coach at East Fife Girls and Women Football Club for almost 3 years and has developed a group of girls from the age of 7-8 years old from fun 5 a side football to readying themselves for competitive games at 9 a side. She has done all this while also juggling a full time job and family life with her husband and 4 kids. She has shown a fantastic level of commitment to the girls in her team in training, at matches and even team bonding activities including days out and trick or treating at Halloween.
Reason for nomination:
She is the only female coach in the entire set up at the club and has faced a lot of challenges that come with this but she has always shown that she is more than capable of stepping up to the challenge and has always put the well-being and development of the girls in her team first and has always made them her priority. She is an incredible person and a fantastic role model for the girls in her team
