Committed Coach

Story:

Reason for nomination:

My u13 team come first. My boy got streamed up to our top team, and I’d never stop him. My husband (no clue on football) is so supportive that he takes our son to his games whilst I work my own games. I won’t go to a Brighton game if my u13 kick off clashes, and I have bought discipline to a team that at u9 level weren’t winning games, as they were too busy messing around not even listening to the coaches full time talk or quarterly talks!

To be honest I deserve to be seen because at 40 years young, the boys think I’m 25, and I cut oranges weekly for them! I think it gives us an old school edge, that’s what I tell them. Not that it keeps them quiet whilst I talk them through the next half!! Their enjoyment and respect of the officials and game comes first to me! Giving everyone a chance to play regardless of any “potential disability” the game is one I love, and I love to see the boys with that same love too! Let’s go Bees!!! U13’s whitegrove not Brentford - sorry!
