Alice Baker

Community Champions

Reason for nomination:

Alice Baker is a football coach working with girls and the captain of the Downed Flyers 1st team playing in the SW Regional Northern Division.

She has coached my 9yo autistic daughter for almost 3 years helping her develop hugely as a player and young person.

Without Alice's work it would have been almost impossible to keep my daughter involved in football, especially during lockdown and has a massive positive impact on her development and wellbeing bot on and off the pitch.

She sets a great aspirational role model and is inspirational in a way that extends beyond football and provides individual and group coaching to a diverse range of girls.

She works really hard juggling football, coaching a full time job and running her own business.

She deserves to be seen!
