Beatrice Rogers

I am 18 years old and I currently play for Cambridge United women. Football has been a lifeline for me and helped me through some very tough and difficult times in my life but I am so grateful for the sport and my teammates who are always there to put a smile on my face.
As a young female footballer myself, I am very aware of h some of the challenges young girls face when trying to begin their footballing journey. But because football has had such an incredible impact on my life, I want to give other young girls the opportunity to fall in love with the beautiful game just like I did.
To do this, I have set up and am running a weekly girls football club where girls of different ages and abilities come and have a bit of a kick a bout and some fun and it has grown massively since the first session I ran and I have even managed to help some of these girls find teams outside of school to play in because they’ve enjoyed the football so much!!
