In July 2023, I started a platform called Bridged, which aims to close the gap between aspiring individuals from underrepresented backgrounds and the sports and entertainment industries. Bridged was born out of the recognition that many young individuals feel sports and entertainment are not viable career paths because they cannot see many people from similar backgrounds working in these industries, and there is a significant lack of awareness on where to access general industry information, initiatives, and job opportunities.

At Bridged, we are (i) shining a light on and sharing the experiences of those from diverse backgrounds working in the industries in the hope that it educates and inspires others (ii) sharing resources and information to help people better understand the industries and (iii) encouraging aspiring individuals to begin establishing their own networks by providing information on how they can find and connect with those already in the industry “If you can see it, you can be it”- We hope to make a difference, no matter how big or small, to help aspiring individuals believe first and foremost, and then create a career in sports that they love!
