Faye Hackwell

Faye is absolutely brilliant and has such a passion for sports journalism in women's football. Faye has been volunteering for Her Game Too as a writer, which has led to her writing pieces for UEFA, the Kent FA and various football magazines. Despite having time out due to battling cancer and having children, Faye has come back stronger, showcasing her commitment to women's football and championing the message of equality.

Some of Faye's recent work includes a match report from the Women's Championship, voluntarily writing for her local team (Ashford United womens), writing about grassroots women's teams with the Kent FA and several Her Game Too articles about female footballers' experiences & dedicated women's teams fixtures.

Faye is so valued and so loved amongst anyone she works with. She is more than worthy of this nomination. She is so passionate & committed to promoting women's football at all levels.
