Reason for nomination:

I am so passionate about the women’s game and changing perspectives for women fans within the men’s game too. I voluntarily support and work along side an amazing group of women within the her game too organisation to promote women in football as well as equality within the game. I work voluntarily within my own football club at Charlton Athletic on female led issues and instilled sanitary products and cocktails as a drinks option within the fans bar. All of this is achieved by working alongside other female fans as part of a working group for our club to make a difference now and for future generations.
I spend hours of my time coaching an under 8s girls team which I set up at the start of the year which is going from strength to strength whilst undertaking my coaching qualification.
I also set up the better together CAFC initiative at Charlton Athletic FC which tackles loneliness, mental health and disability and inclusion. This has resulted in us getting a sensory box at Charlton for matches for disabled fans… and the hope is that we will set up a support group for fans that are also struggling. I want to make a difference and football is my safe haven when things get tough day to day. I’ll never stop achieving and believing or trying to make a difference.
