Katie Parker

Katie is a passionate player that lives and breathes women’s football. Not only has she been playing as a goalkeeper from a young age, but also spent periods of time refereeing and coaching young goalkeepers. Katie has been passionate about growing awareness and access to football, she has done this by setting up a women’s football team within her company. She ran training sessions for those that were interested in playing football whether they had never kicked a ball before up to elite ability. She arranged matches for 2 teams on a weekly basis and organised social activities surrounding the WSL to grow connectivity and awareness of the women's game. This grew to having over 100 registered members taking part in the club in some form. It has been such an achievement to see women go from curious none footballers, to passionate regular players.
