Passionate Players

Reason for nomination:

Being a neurodiverse kid from inner London, football has always been an obvious outlet for me. The perfect opportunity to run around, make friends, and learn a sport that now practically dictates my life. As a player who has suffered plenty of illnesses and injuries, my journey to national league football was never straightforward. Players still have to hide disabilities and injuries from coaches or risk being singled out. However when football goes well, the sun seems to shine on the rest of my life. I'm incredibly grateful for the support I have received from people I've met along the way. I want to share my love of the game by continuing to play, to coach, and to take on a business role in the long term. In the meantime I am developing all of these skill sets and hope to get the chance to play college football abroad and gain experience to bring back to the UK!
