Mia Lazaro
Media Masterminds

Reason for nomination:

Having worked for less than a year in the sports media industry, I have been able to develop and film, write and commentate for The FA, The WNL, The Premier League, Euronews and other places. Most of the time, I have done voluntary work to help women’s football be seen and broadcasted from county cup games to even talking about overlooked players on the radio.

Putting in work to promote equity in women’s football from no experience to being surrounded by media experts in under 6 months has shown my growth, determination and passion for the game.

I believe I deserve to be seen due to my commitment towards girls and young women in football through media.

This specific point has been shown through my work with media & charity organisation: HerGameToo, where I have been part of a team for this very reason and where we have won Best in Women’s Football currently two years in a row.
