Reason for nomination:

Nicole has spent the last year writing a play about the 1971 women’s World cup in Mexico, a little known tournament that England played in, infront of 90,000 fans at the Azteca stadium. Her auntie played for the team and we have been meeting the team for the past couple of years and learning about what happened. The play is starting to get some traction and I think she deserves to be nominated for the all the hard work she’s putting into getting some recognition for these forgotten lionesses who were actually banned from playing football after they got back from the World Cup. She’s started to now create a TikTok which is quickly gathering views and likes in order to promote the play further down the line. @wosorewind. She has such a passion for the game and we go to so many wsl and England games, as well as the champions league final in Eindhoven last year. Nicole is incredibly passionate about women’s football and specifically the history of the game, and has so much knowledge to give. She is also a trained actor and would be a massive asset to women’s football going forward.
