Paige Gowans-Smith

I used to work with Paige I soon realised we shared an interest in Liverpool football club, however this further escalated into an understanding of how passionate she is about the game and the importance of the female game growing within communities. It was great pleasure to ask Paige to join our 5a side team, hearing the other team laugh that we had a female in our team, was soon silenced when she was by a mile the best player on the pitch. This being a prime example of her passion and desire to remove sexism in football. Paige is constantly working within the community to drive football and sharing her experiences as a footballer in the UK and America and has recently started to referee too. She is constantly sharing views and community events on social media driving through the women’s game.
