Paige Gowans-Smith

After a successful semi professional career in England and the United States Paige suffered a series of career ending knee injuries that eventually forced her to give up her lifelong passion, playing football. Instead of turning her back on the sport she loved she started coaching grassroots male and female athletes of all ages and abilities to inspire them to compete at their highest levels .
She obtained her UEFA B licence and last year became a referee and lines woman for Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire FA. Her passion shines through her voluntary roles as well as her new vocation within the wider football community.
