Loved football from the tender age of 6. Somewhere in west Africa where no one bothered about women’s football, played with the lads till I joined other ladies.
Haven’t played in a while but I do follow the women’s games a lot and hope to make it as big in my home country Ghana as it is in the UK.
I’ve witnessed women’s football attain heights that I never thought it would. One way or the other, I have influenced some of my friends and mutuals on X, especially the males to appreciate it the same way. We’ve grown to throw bants concerning women’s football around and appreciating how good and competitive the game is. This little gesture makes me feel like women’s football will get to the highest of highs one day and I know that the whole world may not know what I contributed to it but I would be content with myself. Albeit, if this opportunity has presented itself, I feel like I would love to be seen.
