Sally knows that change has been relatively slow to come for women sports and she knows that we have a long line of inspirational athletes to thank for these hard on advances. This is why Sally strives to be the best she can be to help motivate the next female to do the same and to help fight for equality and same pay as men, not just in the sporting arena. Sally makes it her priority to that society recognizes how they view gender to support and respect all identies. So much of the game is mental, and the only way to perform at your best is to train hard and this is something Sally is striving for.
