Sapphire Chyna Elliott
Reason for nomination:
Sapphire is a very talented football player who dedicates playing football multiple times a week. Throughout the week she plays and trains with multiple women's football clubs in south london for example Lambeth FC and Bromley Girls. She values teamwork and shows signs of a great leader in matches and tournaments whilst showing professional sportsmanship to her opponents. As well as sports, she also has a degree in Sports Science BSc from University of Birmingham which she puts to use in her role with Lions Academy sports coaching. She is a great ambassador for the women’s football as she has worked for Lions Academy, where she has taught sports at local schools in south london. She uses her job to encourage students to get into sports early, and gives female students the confidence to negative stereotypes.
