Ally Flan

Ally Flan
Media Masterminds

Reason for nomination:

My name is Eileen and I am 11 years old from Ireland. When I grow up, I want to be like Ally Flan because she is amazing and does so much for women’s football and for Ireland.

She makes videos that teach people about women’s football and she talks about players and matches in a way that makes it really exciting. A lot of people don’t talk about women’s football as much as men’s, but Ally makes sure people see how brilliant it is. She works really hard and still finds time to do all of this, even though she has another job too.

She also talks about mental health, which is really important because sometimes football and life can be hard, and it helps to have someone remind us to stay positive. She makes me feel like I can do anything if I work hard.

Ally doesn’t just report on football, she is helping to make it bigger and better for girls like me who love the sport. She makes me proud to be Irish and I think she deserves to be seen.
