Amandine Woodberry

Reason for nomination:
I work so hard in sports, trying to figure out new ways women and girls can achieve success in sports whilst trying to see the ways to battle the barriers women are facing. I want to make a change in women’s sport especially. I will be graduating from the University of Bath this year from the course: Sports Management and Coaching and I am so eager to make her change in football. I yarn to make a change so girls and women can participate freely and obtain the same opportunities as their male counterparts. By using the skills I have learnt from my modules at university, sociology in sports & health and sports media, it has given me the chance to know that I work in women’s football. Also, using my volunteering skills has given me the chance to work with the public on a mega scale, the Paralympics. I got to work closely with the public which allowed me to communicate with the spectators, engage, work as a team and with the athletes during the Olympics. Moreover, with the Olympics, I was able to have the chance to work with the athletes which gave me the inspiration of wanting to work with the athletes. Therefore, I would love to have this chance to develop my skills and help me make a change in women’s sport for the better.
