I have been working in the women’s sports industry for over a year, voluntarily dedicating a mass amount of my time to trying to better the game for future generations. As a young footballer I had little to no role models, and ended up leaving the sport. Although not a big in front of the camera person, behind the scenes I have been writing, photographing and working voluntarily to try and help shift attitudes so young girls never have to question their place in sport. Whilst primarily covering the WSL and Championship, I have dedicated so much time and work trying to bring attention to the lower tiers like FAWNL. I have also been running the UK women’s football side of Impetus Football for the last two months, as well as producing work on the rarely covered second tier of women’s football in Australia, NPLW.
