I am extremely involved and passionate about the female game and I want to be visible in order to inspire people in my local
Area . I am not young . I am
43, slightly overweight , have diagnosed anxiety disorder and fibromyalgia. But I play football!!! And I love it ! I am
A her game too advocate and campaign for the day that sexism in sport is irradiated.
I coach and manage my daughters team , within a club that is dominated by men in coaching and committee roles and make sure that I get my opinion in and run my team in an open, kind and holistic way and try to teach this to others . I play and coach on the only ladies recreational team in out town and am staring the only ladies walking football just play sessions in hit York with another female coach .
If people could see me and see us doing what we do and pushing for equal opportunities and breaking down barriers I would hope we could inspire more ladies to be involved and come out fighting .
