Reason for nomination:

I deserve to be seen for how I have used my role as Marketing and Communications Manager at Bloomsbury Football to create space for and celebrate girls in football.

I joined the Bloomsbury Football team in February 2022, and since then, I have created projects and campaigns that have tackled the stigma and stereotypes that girls face, on and off the pitch.

A key achievement has been starting a period project in October 2022, providing period products and educational workshops to girls and coaches in the Bloomsbury Football community. This project has been covered by Sky Sports News and The Guardian.

I believe in the concept of 'see it to be it' and want to empower young women in London to be role models. I created 'Game Changers' an exhibition celebrating the power of girls on the pitch. This gained 4.6 million site visits over the month it was live in the King's Cross Outside Art Project.

I am producing a documentary following the lives of six Bloomsbury Football girls in the years since the Lionesses' historic 2022 EUROs win. This project will inspire girls everywhere, with a clear message that when they show up on the pitch, they have the power to change the game.

On a day to day basis, I am proud of my work elevating the voices of girls in football and helping Bloomsbury Football to reach 10,000 girls each week by 2028. I would love to join the #WeSeeYou Network to continue challenging stereotypes and building community in this space.
