My nominee deserves to be seen due to her complete variety of social media content creation interlinked with her true passion for women’s sports as a whole. I have been a follower of Katie for the past year or so and it has been incredible to watch her professional development across her social media platforms. She has gained a real following and appreciation from her audience which has created its own small community in its own right.

Katie’s content is what drew me to her page. She produces different categories of Women’s Football promotion whether that be through humorous/relatable videos, informative posts showcasing reliable news on the Women’s Football world or updates on her personal journey towards her end-goal in Women’s Football media.

For me, Katie’s dedication is what sets her apart from the crowd. In the last year, it has been a pleasure to follow along with her as she moved from Scotland to London, began creating more regular and consistent content, began studying a Master’s course in Football Media, started writing journal articles and gaining media accreditation for match days and press conferences across huge teams in the English Women’s Football World. She has documented these adventures across different platforms in great detail while remaining professional at all times.

Having seen Katie at work, it is truly inspiring to see how much passion someone has for such an important area of sport. Katie is a small creator but yet manages to touch the screens of so many people whether they are only just beginning to engage with Women’s Football or are long-time Women’s Football supporters. I strongly believe that this is the core meaning of a media mastermind. This is why I believe Katie Vince deserves to be seen.
