Maisie McNulty

Maisie McNulty
Media Masterminds

Reason for nomination:

My nominee deserves to be seen because she has worked so incredibly hard to chase her dreams and I am so proud of her. She has always been a lover of football but as a young girl, she was in the minority. This didn’t affect her passion for it, she has just continued pushing and promoting women’s football, sharing her love for the sport annd inspiring others through her online platform.

Her work online alone is awe- inspiring. She is always looking for opportunities to push herself and grow. Maisie has achieved so much in just the past year, including gaining 9 match day accreditations, interviewing some of her icons Millie Bright, Niamh Charles, Emma Hayes, gaining accreditation for USA VS England at Wembley, creating incredible content day in and day out on tik tok and instagram (TikTok: @Maisiexmxn Instagram: @maisiexmcn_).

On top of all of these incredible achievements within her media work, she has continued to pursue her full time degree in children’s nursing at Surrey university. This degree is highly demanding, and includes 900 hours of unpaid placement work in hospitals including Great Ormand Street Hospital in London.

In addition to her studies and commitment to media creation, Maisie has shown incredible kindness by dedicating time to important causes. Maisie participated in a charity walk to raise awareness for Suicide Prevention Month and to support Samaritans, an organisation that helps individuals in mental health crises. This cause is deeply meaningful and holds a special place in my heart.

Maisie is not only talented and hardworking but also one of the kindest and most caring people I know. Maisie is my little sister, but I aspire to be as incredible as the young woman she has become. Maisie is truly an inspiration, and I feel so lucky to know her. I am beyond proud of her every single day.
