Football has become such a meaningful part of my life. Growing up, I didn’t have much encouragement to play and often felt put down due to the lack of support around me. Last year, getting involved in the Coptic Orthodox Women’s Football Tournament reignited my passion for the game and since then, I’ve helped grow my church team, organising consistent weekly two-hour sessions—not just for fellowship, but to help others develop their love for football and improve their skills. Watching their confidence and abilities grow has been so rewarding. I also nominated my friend Sarah, who played a big role in reigniting my love for football, and I’d love us to share this experience
