Firstly, I've loved sports since I was young. My dad always tells me it's because the first thing I saw when I was born was him in a Liverpool shirt but I believe it's because there's nothing like it. The thrill I've had from live sports is like no other and I love the community and fans aspect of it.

My main reason for applying is my dream role would have to be a presenter/interviewer. I love to discuss sports whether it's with others who are passionate about the sport or its me talking my friends ear off about why I think one athlete is doing great this season. From doing student radio I realised that not only do I like sharing my own sporting opinions but I love to give others the space to express theirs and give them a platform. Whether it's socials presenting on Tik Tok or IG stories to being on camera or live in a venue I love it all!

I've recently finished my time as a Rising Host in The Hundred cricket with Birmingham Phoenix where I had the incredible experience of in-venue hosting at Edgbaston for all their home games. The main point of their Rising programme is to give people who haven't had the opportunity to showcase their presenting talent the ability to build their skills and come out the end with a show reel! My main aim now is to build on everything I learnt as a Rising Host across other sports and I think this programme would be a great place to learn.
