Reason for nomination:
Bekah is a commuted and crucial player and volunteer for football for foodbanks- a group in Sheffield (and elsewhere) that raises money for foodbanks by playing football multiple times weekly.
The group itself is the most inclusive, welcoming group of people ive ever played with, and Bekah is a big part of this.
She is incredibly passionate, and has been heavily involved in putting on beginner friendly sessions, where she acted as a coach.
After games, there is always a match report which is posted on facebook, and Bekah really goes above and beyond on this. She writes beautifully and remembers niche details about every players game that day, to create a fabulous post-match musing.
I know historically she was heavily involved in playing and coaching her university medics team, and is a huge fan of Chelsea. I think she deserves to be recognised for her continual contribution to football, making it a fun and inclusive space. Her passion is contagious.
