Reason for nomination:

Football has always been in my blood. My Grandad founded a local football club, and it’s his whole life—you never need to ask where he is because he’ll always be at the ground. Growing up, I was surrounded by the game, yet I felt like it wasn’t a space for me. It wasn’t a place for a young girl. So, I rejected it—because you can’t be what you can’t see.
But when women’s football started gaining the visibility it always deserved, I saw my own way in. I started researching Women in Sport Archives during my degree, uncovering the silenced stories of those who came before us. I realised that storytelling—whether through journalism, content creation, or social media—could be my way of ensuring no one else feels like football isn’t for them.
Now, as co-founder and social media manager of Girls Watch Girls Play, I create matchday content that bridges the gap between fans and the women’s game, bringing people closer to the action and making sure they feel part of it. Through my work with La Reina Magazine, Secta, and other independent projects, I’ve found my voice in the spaces that once shut me out. Whether I’m filming pitchside, capturing fan culture, or amplifying the game’s biggest moments, I’m driven by a deep-rooted passion to elevate women’s football and the people within it.
This opportunity with Chelsea and Three UK isn’t just about developing my skills—it’s about refining my ability to tell the stories that matter, to create the content that makes young girls believe they belong in football. I bring creativity, determination, and an unwavering commitment to making the women’s game bigger and better than ever.
I’d love the chance to be part of this experience—to learn, grow, and continue using my voice to make football a space for everyone.
